Our flagship bar, cured in the Ashanti region

The bar Mai-Ami is built on. Cocoa pods and plantain peels are sun-dried and ash-roasted by women's co-operatives in the Ashanti region, then cooked slowly with shea butter, coconut and palm kernel oil. It cleanses deeply without stripping — for face, body and problem skin alike.

How to use

1. 1.Break off a small piece rather than using the whole bar.
2. 2.Lather between wet hands or on a wash net, then massage over damp skin.
3. 3.Rinse fully with lukewarm water and pat dry.
4. 4.Follow with raw shea butter or a facial oil while skin is still damp.
5. 5.Store on a draining dish between uses.
